Cruising, day two

We didn't do much while cruising. We just walked around the ship and explored.  Curtis got seasick the first night on the boat because we didn't put his motion sickness patch on before we boarded.  So there's a tip for you people with chronic motion sickness problems:  get an RX patch from your doctor and put it on before you board the ship so it has time to take effect!

By Saturday, Curtis still wasn't good, so we hung out at one of the bar. He streamed the Alabama game and several people watched it with him and John. We met a nice couple from Tuscaloosa and a guy from California who wanted to watch the Bama game much to his wife's chagrin who kept trying to get him to go with her!  There are Bama fans everywhere.

I think the ship is pretty neat.  I'll do another post with just ship pictures. There are 14 decks and numerous places to lounge around and stare out at the ocean, swim, play, eat and drink.  I can't imagine the logistics behind all of the feeding and excursions and luggage...it has to be a nightmare, but a pretty well-oiled nightmare.  We got our luggage by the time we got to our room last night after dinner.  I also think it pays to get a drink package, maybe not the all inclusive alcohol and anything you want package.  But a decent drink package is nice because you just show your seapass card and order your drink and don't have to worry about tallying up before you leave the bar.

Tomorrow when we wake up, we will be going into the Inside Passage. I am super excited!
