Buffalo, Wyoming

We stayed in Buffalo one night, at the nicest Hampton Inn we've stayed in so far.  This is the history leg of the tour so we stopped at the Jim Gatchell Museum where I put Curtis in the paddy wagon.

Then to the Occidental Hotel and Saloon. The saloon is the original saloon dating back to 1880. The guys enjoyed a shot of Wyoming Whiskey at the bar. Unlike the staff at Number 10 Saloon in Deadwood,  the staff here was very friendly and encouraged us to look around.  (Two thumbs up for them! ) There was a ton of old furniture,  an old cast iron stove, and the bar was the original.  Pretty cool for all of us history buffs.

This is a sheep herder's wagon. I joked that it's the first RV. It had a stove,  a bed,  and storage.

These are just some other pictures of the town.
